Designer: Katrine Andersen

We continue the presentation of our fabulous Creative Team. Today you'll meet Katrine.
Jeg har scrappet en del år efterhånden, how many I've actually not quite manage. Scrapbooking is relaxing for me and is a fantastic hobby. I love to experiment with different structures, and I try to get new ideas for different ways to use various materials in. I think, it's fun to be challenged to develop my style. I can lie on the evening, before I fall asleep, and think about, how I should try different techniques in a different way the next day.
I also have something with colors. I love the colors! I often use contrasting colors. I end up like in some projects, I have mist and paint over both ears (Literally). I also love the slightly rough style, so pink tuttenut will be a big challenge for me. I love my stapler, which helps to highlight the raw style, and in addition it is easy to put things in place with. I use almost exclusively by eye, and it is a little bit stressful for me to use lineal.Før I got my son, it was much more pictures from my travels, I scrappede, but now fills my son also suffered in scrapperierne. Jeg forsøger dog at veksle, so it is not only my gold nugget, is subject.
When I scrapper, I know often do not, what I want to get started with or how my project will end. Sometimes I have an idea about a thing, I want to use or a technique I will use, but often I go ahead and it has just come to mind. I almost always start with making my background for, or make my own background with mist, stamps and stitches. Det synes jeg er en fantastisk sjov proces. I often come out in frustrating drying processes, where I sit and wait. My layouts takes a long time to cook, sometimes several days because there just is something, to dry. I am often inspired by others, for example, as shown on this layout, is Ania Dabrowska, there has been an inspiration. I try always to make it my own style and mix styles with my own techniques. I also find inspiration from other scrappers, if I see them use materials in a different and fun way, I was inspired to use things in a third way.
I love to be spontaneous in my scrappestil. It's fun to try something of, and it is very seldom, I throw something out. If there is something, not just become, I had thought, prøver jeg at dække det. Når du scrapper sammen med mig er “UPS” very frequent words, coming out of my mouth and it's often followed by “Now, it was probably meant”. I think probably a little on the fate, when it comes to my scrapperier.
Thanks to Katherine for the presentation
Katherine is an amazing and unique part of Scrapsisters team. I am delighted whenever she has the courage to do a project, for I know that there will be a wild twist on the task. Katrine has plenty of go-do attitude and it's fun and inspiring to watch her play with the products and materials. There are always new and quirky details and she is so inspiring to us all.
