Photo Matterhorn is the edge / frame, you can make around a picture. Der er flere grunde til at det kan være en god idé at lave fotomatter, when you make a layout.

It may be to add color to a layout, where you have kept the rest in neutral colors, men det kan også være for at skabe ro på et layout. By that I, that if you have an image with many colors and pattern paper with many colors, you can create peace between the image and paper, by giving the picture a matte of a neutral color. It is also a way to mark the transition between image and paper, hvis man har valgt noget mønsterpapir der matcher til farverne på billedet eller for at give en dybde i dit layout.

Here I will show, how to easily make a photo matte.

You need:

Picture

Cardboard / papir

Double-sided adhesive tape

Cutting Machine or ruler and scalpel

Start by getting double-sided tape on the back of your picture.

Put the image stuck in the corner of your board, so that there is a small frame by two of the edges.

Cut fotomatten on the other two sides, to fit the width of the first pages. I have used a cutting machine, but you can also use a ruler and scalpel.

Now your photo matte finished and ready to put on your layout.

Here is an example of how the image looks, without using a photo matte.

You may want to. the edges of the ink fotomatten.

Now you're equipped to make photo matting in your layouts. This method can also easily be used in the short, where you for example. using colored stamp designs.
