In the week 7 I was hired as a teacher for a bunch of children at two libraries in Silkeborg municipality – and it was a fantastic experience.

My teaching companion Line and I met up, prepared for a big jerk-in, and hardly had we unpacked before the first children were curious and sat down. I explained briefly, what scrapbooking is and so they could go ahead. We had planned a 20×20 cm. album and on the 3 hours, the 15 children created some beautiful albums, who were ready to images. There was a straight antale boys- and girls, and it was wonderful. Servants were most of lego papers, Metal brads, dødningehoveder og grungestempler, while girls were pink and pink, bows and strips.

The children jumped over the colorful papers and was super creative and came up with many small and funny solutions.
In another course, there were also adult participants, they were more reluctant than the children, they would like to do it right. But there are no rules in scrapbooking, so I hope that my attempt to simply “jump” in addition to the success of. There are a few “Rules” which makes it nice for the eye to look at a design, but if scrapperen themselves happy and satisfied, I will not go with my theories

What impressed me most was the children's coloring, it was so vivid, creatively and to be happy by looking at. See for yourself here, a girl came, with a sad background, og formåede alligevel at få sat farver sammen, which confirmed her in that life is good and there are plenty of bright moments.

I can only encourage new and curious scrappers to attend similar events, or go to the many Crops and conventions that are around the country.
