First weekend in October 2010 was more than 300 scrappeglade women and one man gathered in Middelfart to the twelfth Scrapbooking Convention.

Det var en rigtig dejlig dag fyldt med hygge og gode vibrationer. Som altid, when many women are single, blev der snakket til den store guldmedalje. It happened rarely, the chairs were filled by women scrappende, but tilgengæld was often crowded with the many attendees stores.

Heidi and her team had everything under control, så der var planlagt kurser for enhver smag. There were many prizes and something new was a nice raffle with many great prizes game. This year, there were distinguished visitors from both Zealand and France. Heidi had arranged a super inspiring mini album course with Maybritt Raymund Sorensen (Majer) og et farvestrålende travel album kursus med Céline Navarro.

This time they had taken two baths in use, so there was more space in individual stores. It also meant, that there was more space at the tables, so there was room to scrap and to newly purchased product. Det var dejligt at kunne have sine ting fremme uden af skulle mase dem sammen under bordet eller ovenpå det. There were plenty of table space – even if the table was filled with new purchases and a half-finished layout. There was a really nice atmosphere in the halls – sound level was very high. But it is just a sign that women are enjoying themselves.

There were so many stores this time, all of which had a lot of delicious new products. There was more space at the shops, so as to quickly became term. I hal B var Scrap is fun, Jeans Scrapstue, Scrappers.dk, Scraphouse og Unikscrap. I hal C var Scrapfactory, Scrapbook Fun, Creative Sensations, Multiscrap, Hobby Boden and Orion Design.

Many of the shops had chosen to make some beautiful Make and Takes, or how tos. Hos Scrap is Fun kunne man lege med de helt nye Glimmer Glam produkter fra Tattered Angels. Unique Scrap showed, how to spent Promarkers. At Scrapfactory could learn to make the most delicious flowers, og hos Orion Design kunne man lege med Gurlis flotte stempler og udskåret chipboard.

Besides shops, there were Make and Take by Stampin’ up and Majer taught floral techniques by Orion Design.

Der var som altid nogle rigtig gode konkurrencer for både layout og kort, where there were so many great contributions.

Efter convention kontaktede vi to deltagere på denne convention og stillede dem nogle spørgsmål om deres oplevelse. We contacted the Signe and Eve.

Signe says, that she is in for the fourth time. The best on the convention was, according to her, Majers course and meet scrappers as we have come to know through the common hobby – and of course all the new scrappers one learned to know. Majers course was perfect for Signes taste; she learned a lot of new techniques and was very inspired. A convention has been shown very few, who survive without buying anything. Signes best buy was this time some new stamps from Orion Design. They are difficult to obtain via the webshop, so Signe had ordered many of supplies to convention. She also made use of the ingenious concept of buying / selling table, and got here bought three very attractive storage boxes, which she had long wanted. Signe had even different things for sale on this board and was sold for 5-6oo kr. Signe ends by telling, that she had been looking forward to getting off to learn new things and see new things and techniques – and it was fully repaid to this twelfth convention.

Eva tells, that it was the first time, she was seated as scapper, but certainly not the last time. She has already signed up for the next convention. She has been twice before as a visitor. There were many things, Eva thought was good for this convention, She also mentioned Majers course, which provided plenty of inspiration, the good opportunities for shopping at many stores and save on postage, and that she was finally put faces to many of them, She has learned to know through Scrapsisters forum. Since it was the first time, Eva attended the sitting scrapper, it was also the first time, She has participated in a course. She was very enthusiastic about the, and especially the fact that you are going to talk with them, Sitting with, in a completely different way,, than if you encounter them in the hall. And then she was obviously happy to have learned a lot of new. Album, she learned to do at Majers course, is certainly not the last of its kind, and she is looking forward to having started with albums like home. Eva also says, she seems, it was very inspiring to go around among all the many sitting scrappers, and see what they were doing. Det gav også tit mulighed for lidt hyggesnak. Eve's best buy was a crop-a-dile, we are more, which surprised us, that she could live so long without. As many of us, Eva had a little mixed with the purchase / sale table, and she had also sold some of his stuff. A fun experience was, When she found out that side companion at the table, was one of the participating vessels in the “Birthday Club” between Scrapsisters. Den er Eva også med i. Eva says at last, it was wonderful to meet so many people with the same hobby and interest in the paper as herself, and she is looking forward to the next convention.
