Of: Pernille & Anja Thrysøe
We had done it once before, and ever since we had been looking forward to, that we would do it again. Here we're talking of course about the biannual sommerhustur with scraptøserne, which has become a tradition. The joy and anticipation to this journey began almost surely already, when we parted last time on Sunday, and it was certainly not diminished since then. This we could also sure to mark, Pernille then sent his e-mail with all the practical details, who so beautifully started up by telling: "Now we just sleep 19 times again. It's incredible, that in an adult age can still enjoy so much about something, that you count nights, sleeping. But it's the nice thing about the hobby, which we all share so passionately. For where it is otherwise, encountered understanding of the, that you meet a whole weekend to sit ae a piece of paper and say, oh, at how nice a stamp friend bought.
Well when the day finally arrived, We were bare clear. It started with, that Wendy was picked up by Anja, and all her stuff was packed in the car. Already here we thought, to stationcaren began to be a little small, and Wendy said dry: "I think, when your luggage was larger last!”. It must be said, we had filled the trunk, and we had not yet picked Anja things. We did have room for it all – and we also got all the food with. It was heldigt, We only 2 in the car.
To see a packed car out - the back seat was also filled.
Promotion at the cottage we packed everything out and assessed again, if it really was only one weekend, We had packed scrapsager to, but with things out of the car, we had organized ourselves in the house and dragged a table into, which could act as a "tool plate". Here were all our stamps, machines, This osv. laid up for free use, so we could go looking in each other's cases.
Tool table with all sorts of wonderful beauty cases.
Over the next few hours came to Sidsel with his son Marius, we quickly agreed, Danish is the answer to Tim Holtz, when he gets a little older. At last sommerhustur was Sidsel pregnant with him, and this time he was with at the age of 3 Months, so one might not otherwise say that he will scrap with their mother's milk. So to lead him further into the glorious scrapverden, we taught him to blacken the edges. Later, Lise to, and on Saturday came Stine.
Marius - Denmark's youngest male scrapper and the forthcoming response to the Danish Tim Holtz.
Over the weekend it stood, so otherwise just the cozy of the creative kind. We made different cards and LO's. Anja had among other things, took some new punches from his shop Picturing the World, as we all had toyed around with. Besides it was Lise instructions in the great art of coloring with H2O colors, and she became quite hooked on it. She actually had no time to smile for the photographer. The concentration was simply at its highest.
A deeply concentrated Lise armed with a water brush.
Stine started with a weekend of layouts.
Wendy sits and admires his masterpiece.
Over the weekend we were quite productive. Anja sits always very high goals. Last time it was to 13 Layouts, where the goal this time was to be finished with Australia album (was missing a lot of Layouts). It was not finished, but it was nevertheless a part layouts and cards from all of us. Last time we had made little challenges to each other, but we soon found out, that we really know would have time to do some of the things, We had originally planned, so we had not done this time. Lise doing furthermore also the standard hostess gift, we give to her, we rent the cottage of. Last time we made a Tobleroneæske and this time it became a Milkaæske, we must see, what will happen next time.
Sidsel made this beautiful card for her sister.
Anja did this layout with its stamps from Impression Obsession.
We can highly recommend such a sommerhustur to other small scrapklubber or girlfriends, who meet. It is really nice and a great way to meet and discuss the hobby, we all enjoy so much. It is easy to arrange the trip.
- Find and weekend
- Find a cheap holiday - Important detail: sure there is a table in a reasonable size!
- Plan who, taking what on the trip - both scrapsager and food. There is no reason to have multiple bigshots etc. With. We've split the meals up between us, as a stand for breakfast, one for lunch, etc..
- And then it's just counting the days…
